i'm actually possed that this was 3 years ago and Joe Dirt 3 with theo hasn't happened yet – call him rat boy and have him be joe dirts son or younger brother – and he tricks joe into helping him for a whole movie only to tell him in the end "listen, joe… i lied… im not looking for my family…. i already found it… its you… your my big brother…. after you got lost, they had another baby a few years later and left me at a Skynyrd Tribute band concert at the county fair in NOLA…. i was raised by a nice lady who ran a pizza shop and when i found those radio interview recordings – i knew i had to find you"

The only thing that kind of disappointed me about JD2 was that they didn't keep the continuity with that fucking crazy Rastafarian dreadlock wig he gets at the end of JD1 lol. Should've kept that in there, if even just for a minute.

Lost respect for Spade when he completely avoided mentioning Joe Dirt 2 and how shit it was. Theo gave him a perfect opportunity to address it by pitching the Joe Dirt 3 question but he yammered like a toddler and just wanted to move on. Is Spade being blackmailed? Was he forced to make JD2 the same way Tool was forced to make that boring Fear Innoculum album?

David spade doesn’t give himself enough credit, anyone could have filled the other positions but no one could fill his. he made that movie come to life, and his character is what made that movie i don’t care what anyone says. And Theo Von doesn’t qualify for a Joe Dirt role in my opinion. i just personally don’t think he could pull it off. Only thing he has going is the mullet, but to bring the actual character to life takes talent

Joe Dirt is so quotable and that's what made the first one so memorable. That and it was very endearing for a comedy. I ended up liking the sequel more than I thought I would.
