    This feels like a pretty rude awakening for stagnant budget phones in the West (a bit less so in India cause there are already tons of great options) – I love to see it honestly – all of us win when things get competitive 🙌

    Yeah, this review made me get one. Best decision this year so far … Only down side is the accessories – nothing with the phoine. I was looking at a Nothing 4a, but the free buds were taken off at checkout becuase I'm in the UK. I got this one instead and saved some money lol.Only downside, my music had to go on a microSD card. Ah well ! for a £200 saving I can live with that for sure !!!
    It's a great phone, so easy to get all my apps and settings off my old Oneplus 6T. everything works well and it is really nice in general – 10/10

    Warning: The accessories are unavailable as of right now.
    Found ppl in forums like reddit stating that even though they preordered the CMF phone 2 pro they never got accessories like the backplate with it and that the accessories only had limited availability. I even read that to ppls' knowledge Youtubers were the ONLY ONES to ever receive any accessories in the first place. You are only able to download the files to 3D print backplates etc. So, if you decide to buy the phone you will not be getting anything with it. And if you don't have a 3D printer or a friend who will print things for you, it will most likely stay that way. I mean, THAT feature is really cool since the community has already done a lot with it, but I do find it kinda disgusting. After all, the modularity was one of the main selling points of this phone. At least the back plate should have been sold with the device.
    This phone was going to be my next phone to buy, but since its customizability was one of the most important aspects of why, I am more than unsure whether I will be buying it. My friend has a 3D printer, but it's about the principle for me. Without the tools to print stuff for yourself, You essentially just get a normal phone, and you won't be able to take out the battery and replace it like you could with the CMF phone 1. So if you do not have the means to print accessories yourself, I would seriously think the purchase of this device over before you do spend your money on it.

    It's not a bad phone at all by itself, it just doesn't keep its promises.

    I don’t understand why these companies are so obsessed with us having everything slimmer. This obsession with small and slim is ridiculous. I love chunky smart designs or quirky chunky or whatever. I love my tech to have weight as well. I can never forget those famous words in Jurassic park when the boy handles those binoculars as the lawyer guy says ‘If it’s heavy then it’s expensive’

    Sometimes this guy. I know he doesn't understand. I have to save up for 6 months to buy a 3-year-old phone. Again, I know he is not thinking of me, and some could NEVER AFFORD a phone. However, it doesn't make it any better.

    Looks like a really cool phone and honestly just from their appearances I kinda want the orange one. I think the waterproofing is much more important than having irreplaceable back. But they should just make it thicker and put the magnet in the back of the phone similar to MagSafe. I understand they’re trying to keep us down but it’s just a bit silly. Likewise put a threat around the camera ring so that you can just screw on the lenses. And supply vanity covers for people who don’t want to use them.

    This phone is way too aggressive with killing apps in the background. Even after minimizing games like PUBG for just 10-20 seconds, the phone forces a full reload when I switch back—no resuming where I left off. lobby resets, everything. I've tried every fix: unrestricted battery, Game Mode on, RAM Booster off, developer options tweaks—but nothing sticks permanently. This is the worst RAM management I've experienced on any phone. For gaming or multitasking, it's unusable without constant frustration. In 2025, with 8GB RAM + virtual expansion, this shouldn't happen. (if anybody has a solution plz tell me)

    This phone is over hyped. Ive been using it for past 6 months. I bought it for clean UI etc. But i am having many issues one is the when a call comes if you you take the call immediately the call get connected but cant talk. I was surprised to see same issue discussed in many forums and reddit. Other is useless button on right which take a screenshot whenever you touch. Very annoying. Another thing is there is no option to have different ringtones for different sims.
