I mean if Hip-Hop hasn't been radical for 30-40 years aren't you pretty much saying Hip-Hop [music] hasn't really ever been radical?

can't have radical hip hop without a radical movement. even panther cub hip hop like digable planets was non-threatening because there was limited active movement at the time. other than the occasional blip (i'm thinking NFAC), there just isn't an organized left right now. too much money swirling around

Dead Prez is legit awesome. I had already had my mind opened by Rage Against the Machine. It came at the perfect moment for this white dude from WV. I learned so many things that I went on read more in the years to come

Problem w Dead Prez was their music wasn't revolutionary, only their lyrics. PE's music was pure revolution. Ain't no half steppin.

Radicalism is ultimately fuelled by some iota of HOPE. When there is no hope, only survival remains. Case closed.

MAINSTREAM hip hop is NOT HIP HOP. ALL FAMEass ARTISTS ARE BEAST SYSTEM RHETORIC INCLUDING KRS1, RAKIM, YASIN DEF, KWELI, BUSTA RHYME, Feminem…ALL OF THEM. REAL HIP HOP IS SOVEREIGN CONSCIOUS KILLER UNDERGROUND 4 7HE SđL. OPEN MIC EAGLE IS A F6KE UNDERGROUND HEAD. THEY ONLY LET SHILLS, CONTROLLED OPPOSITION, SAY MORE RAW TRUTHS AS BATE TO DRAW OUT REAL OPPOSITION(REB3LZS). 7HIS IS NOT OPINION.

If you want to affect social change through hip hop, here's what you do:
Step 1: do lots of family-friendly material with educational themes. Get the youth interested in science.
Step 2: gradually rebrand with more politically-charged material.
If all goes well, you'll have a fan base who are against the establishment and at least a few will possess the capability to obtain The Bomb.

Also just to be clear hereâŠ. Dead Prez are both from deeep Tallahassee and went to NY to pursue a record deal. Their idea was to bring that crazy fat bass beat music to New York and thatâs why songs like Hip Hop have such a crazy bass tone that you wouldnât get in typical NY hip hop at the time

Dead prez is the father of Kendrick Cartoon and Cereal — has to be his next project The Radical featuring Beyonce, Jay Z, Clipse / Pharrell, Dr Dre, Rihanna, SZA, Eminem, Black Hippy, ASAP, YG, Playboi Carti etc I need Pharrell, Metro, Mustard, Dre, and Alchemist on the beats and i need the message to be clear TAKEOVER / DONT JUST WATCH THE PARTY DIE, KILL IT
@LuckyNobody1

Kendrick may already be or is close to a radical leftist in my opinion. If so, I hope his next album gets real political and wakes people tf up that capitalism is a huge contributor to the discrimination black people have faced and continue to.
I'm not black, I'm not even American (I'm white British) but I just discovered this channel and your main channel today and watched a few videos and I am a big fan of yours already.
(Also it seems like similarly to me, you have transitioned from liberalism to socialism the past few years. I might be wrong but you did openly say u were a liberal on ur Bo Burnham video a few years back – that I just watched – and now it seems you have gone further to the left.)

I invite anyone reading to check out Fever 333. It's not straight hip hop, but it's punk rap, and the lyrics are definitely "radical" in my opinion. đ„

Yo FD, man have you heard or listened to âbilly woodsâ? If not I highly recommend, he is on some real shit. He worked with el-p. His work is dense with literary and historical allusions, and he often employs a stream-of-consciousness delivery that challenges traditional storytelling approaches in rap. Itâs đ„

Infinity Knives weakness is production. Death Grips is less accessible sound wise, but MC Rideâs vocals and energy are blended into the tracks much better.
