Bret Michaels’ Guitarist EXPLODES at Disappointed Fans: “F* OFF!”
Bret Michaels is at the center of a fan firestorm — and his longtime guitarist Pete Evick has had enough. After Michaels withdrew from the Freedom 250 concert series, a wave of fans turned on the singer, and Evick fired back with a profanity-laced Facebook post aimed squarely at the people he says betrayed the band. He told those who had accepted free tickets, backstage access, meet-and-greets and charitable favors and then turned on Michaels: “F— OFF.”

This event is not a celebration of the US. It’s a platform to bend the knee and lick the boot of the current administration and anyone who doesn’t conform to that is conveniently labeled as unpatriotic, which is just absurd. I applaud any performer who chooses to not be a part of anything supporting our pdf-in-chief. Those who love their country and do not support the wannabe dictator are the real patriots.

Again, it's miserable to see how much has gotten blown out of proportion, and it has everything to do with politics, but I digress. It's a political party that has brought out the savage ugliness in people that think it's perfectly fine to attack someone's appearance (re: many of the comments on this video), they encourage the lack of comprehension skills that it takes to not made snide remarks without understanding where each person is coming from, and of course lack of compassion on all levels. Something that we should all be entitled to as human beings, but it's so much better to be mean, right? 🙄 (yes, that was sarcasm)

I agree with Pete Evick. He’s right. I’m no Bret Michael’s lover, but his years of support for troops, vets, ill and disabled people, etc. should make it clear that he stepping back from this show doesn’t mean he still doesn’t care and support them. People like to twist things into their own narrative when they don’t make sense considering Bret has years of a track record with supporting American troops, vets, and all types of civilian heroes.

I would have never even known they were supposed to play this gig if Bret didnt publicly announce he wasnt playing it anymore. I only like listening to Bret live in concert when hes accompanied by CC, Bobby and Rikki anyway who ive seen like 5 times in concert over the years.
