Spy is one of the most delightful theater experiences I’ve had in my entire life. And I was so relieved that I had no idea what the movie was about, who was in it, or basically paid any attention to the marketing. My late dad was a Jason Statham fan, so he and I just went to see this movie, and man, Spy is one of the greatest comedies of the past 20 years. Of course, Statham and McCarthy were great, but I’ll never forget the audience’s reaction in my theater when Eurovision royalty Verka Serduchka suddenly came on screen. Legit, most of us Eurovision heads lost our minds. 🤣
And yes, it’s been 11 damn years since that movie came out, and we demand a sequel, Mr. Feig. Do it!

Melissa McCarthy’s performance as Sean Spicer on SNL will go down as one of the greatest performances in SNL history and in comedy. In fact, no joke, the first time I ever knew Spicer existed was through her SNL skit. I’m genuinely amazed she could pull that off without breaking character for a single second😂
