We drove into Austin eager to capture this extraordinary band turning the heat up all around the Lone Star State. Don’t let the name confuse you, they may not have seen as many sunsets and sunrises as you’re average boomer, but they are tuned in like the country ghosts of Xmas past.
We saw these boys open up for our friends the Deslondes on New Year’s Eve at the Sagebrush. There wasn’t an ass in their seat and every foot was dancing to the fine sounds of these Texas sons.

Not bad. Bordering on Dylan with a slight rasp; very nice. Laid-back Country through a Blues filter with an almost Margarita Ville by Buffet background. Pleasantly surprised.

This is the kinda generation that is fading. Barely recognized under all the current social media, the turmoil in day to day life. But here….. Here is where that fades away and you go back to the good morels kinda days.
