This is exactly how it felt to get glasses after years of having horrible vision. I thought reading was all that was affected by my poor vision. Nope, turns out objects more than 4 feet away have a good bit of detail to them.

This was literally me when I was 11 years old and finally got glasses, but not marrying the fat sow part. No, I can see but so can everyone else, and that is why I am single to this day and NOT because of major personality defects.
