Beautiful footage of wolf pack wandering through snow-covered northern forest
Excellent footage of the Whiskey Point Pack moving through a snowy northern forest this past winter.
The first wolf in the first sequence is the long-time breeding male. He is much larger than the other wolves, his coat has more of a reddish hue, his tail is tipped with grayish white (not common), and he faced looks grizzled.
Behind him are his two year old offspring and his pup from last year’s litter. The 2nd to last wolf in the 1st sequence is a 2 yr old that was missing the tip of its left ear from a young age.
Bringing up the rear in the first video is his mate, the breeding female who has a limp from some injury she sustained.

Beautiful wolf pack. We really need to be doing more to protect these animals. They're a keystone predator that actually helps keep ecosystems healthy in a way that human hunting can never achieve.
