Amazing moments from the boreal forest of northern Minnesota
A collection of neat, rarely seen moments from the Northwoods of Minnesota. That is, these are some highlights from our ~350 cameras we had deployed last summer.
Will be curious to hear what folks think is the ‘best’ clip…always hard for us to determine that!
Also, this is part 1…we will share part 2 soon!
Big thanks to the Minnesota Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund for supporting our work, which allows us to share these gems with everyone for free!

…"350 cameras we had deployed last summer". Odd choice of a word here "deployed", a military term for the most part. Wrong setting for such. Bad vibes.

Other than the poor wolf with hurt leg this is one of my favorite videos on this channel. lots of animals carrying dinner. then all the younglings with mom and or dad. then the 2 boys rough housing.
also love how you edited the humans (if any showed up) out of the video. there is another channel that is good but he leaves in the humans who see the camera and start acting stupid. i can see that anywhere i want to see only the animals on trail cams. if i want to see humans acting stupid i can go outside. LOL

Has anyone looked into that wolf or coyote that was hopping on three legs; with the front left foot hurt?

Those three otters running towards the camera in slow motion remind me of the beginning of some TV cop show from the 70's–the animal version of a TV show, that is! "Charlie's Otters!" 🤣

At first with the first few clips, I thought oh it's like family day on trail cams and then came the wolf with the fawn in the mouth trotting by..oh no its not.

Have a cabin in N. MN we used to hear the wolves howling around duck opener but haven't heard them in years. Wondering where they went too.

Take these wolves off the protection list, give farmers back there rights to protect there livestock. The protection is bs for these animals, they are killing machines.

What great photos of the animals and natural sounds.
The lame wolf really tucked at my heart but I know that we can't do anything for them; they need be left for nature to take care of them.

That last one was heartbreaking ❤️🩹 it’s as if he limps right up to the camera and asks for help. Heartbreaking

Great video. You have quite an assortment of critters. Thanks for posting. But on your next video would you please raise the camera height? I'd love to ser the whole moose.

The only good part was one coyote attacking another. I saw it walk by with a baby deer head. Just a note: You are required to warn viewers of violent, disturbing content and you didn't. I'll never watch your channel again for showing me that. You didn't have to include. You did. I've been chosen as a rater in a new program I signed up for on YouTube and I'm going to report this.

Dozens of wolves and one deer. Looks about right from observing the past 8 years deer hunting. Maybe it’s about time to manage them again. They don’t look endangered.
