u said in this video that u empathize with these uncle tom mofos from the sticks. Isay dont. Im a mixed race (black & rican) brother who still at almost 40 gets told I dont seem black based on my appearance and demeanor and I have to prove my blackness to my one kind. does that mean I hate myself or everyone on my moms side? NO! does that mean I uphold conservative values? NO! does that mean I stay silent when I hear a white person make a side comment that deserves a slap? NO!
My own ppl may never accept me on either side but that doesnt mean I dont see the hypocrisy of white amerikkka as easily as I see the light of the sun. No excuse for those folks. NONE!

I would love to just have conversation with you or other black people. Growing up in nyc for 18 years and just being around that just to go to west coast and it being such a stark difference?? I miss being surrounded by black people lol. This is the closest imma get for right now. Thank you for doing what you’re doing.

@8:51 As someone with a Caribbean background, I can say that the reverse is also true. Many Caribbeans and Africans speak negatively about Black Americans and tell their children not to consort with them.

I’ll be honest. Growing up undiagnosed autistic in a Black community having moved from a predominantly white community had me fed up for awhile. I really did not know it was just a thing folks do. It hurt. Right up until high school, when I went to a racially diverse high school and realized I had leveled up my roast game. Once I could dish it, I was totally cool with taking it😂😂😂

20:35 act of affection or trauma response to being the butt of everyone’s jokes around the world?

    I’ve often wondered this

Like yes it’s a rite of passage but also we used to think beating our kids was normal and we’re just now getting to the place where we realize that is trauma from enslavement that was never reconciled… m

Kind of like how Jay Z acknowledged that rap beef was a part of the culture but now he is seeing it differently.

We get to heal and evolve

My Mother has gotten 19 Keys Tattooed on her arm in large typograhpy and even says his content has saved her life. As you said in the video i don't doubt these people just want the best for black people at large however ive never had the proper information and disposal before we had gotten to this point to explain WHY i feel like despite the optics of his content that is he is not truly a problack man. Now i will still forever desire for a deep dive into 19keys, tarik nasheed, red pill blue pill nd others alike even if its just B sides but i want you to know you Genuinely just changed my life. My mother is quite male centered and i know its due to conservative values she consciously and subconsciously holds making it hard for us to connect sometimes. Now i have something i can show my mother to at the very least start the conversation so she can understand why i perceive these things the way i do , Thank you!

Can i say this on the black immigrant experience, what you said is partly true. But there a good amount of kids born from black immigrant parent and raised in america that do assimilate into blackness. That being said africa had apartheid. but i do agree with the rest of what you said.

1:45 to be honest, I dont think this is true. The reason why I went from right to left in 2020 was in large part to people like sam seder, destiny, even cenk ugyr tbh. I knew when I started agreeing with him something was happening lol
