I watched so much god damn gold rush and deadliest catch back in the day. The characters on that show, my god they blow jack and tony beats out of the water 😉. (Get it, blow them out the water……) I’ll be here all week.

stretched out 3 minutes of Bob Ritchie publicly shitting the bed well past the 60minute mark, flew way too close to the sun and towards the end goes "i really shoulda watched that. i coulda at least done observations." – But Bob calls a G – ice cold, like a pro, no rehearsals, swan dives in on a Bb. Hope you managed to finesse an À la cartney ticket to NYC during any of those pop ups tho, man. thx 4 the gold

Man, another great and funny vid. Always reminds me of this punk moment at a BNL concert – during the song One Week. We all sang the lyrics: "I'm the kind of guy who laughs at a funeral

Can't understand what I mean? Well, you soon will" and I was wearing leather.

Hey Pat you heard of Jesse Welles? This guy is amazing, I haven't been as excited about a new act for a long time. I am not affiliated with him or anything, just a music fan. He sings about topical issues similar to Dylan or Neil Young in their prime. His lyrics are so good, and he is singing about all the crazy stuff happening in the news, and culture broadly.

Glad I caught this while it was still available for the cheap fucks. Needed this tonight after my power was out for thirteen hours thanks to a SW VA ice storm last night. You’re a real one, Pat. All the love!

Pat, as a card-carrying one of those Tool fans, and Elliott Smith fans (to paraphrase your Weezer vid– "Goddammit, Elliott!"), I have to say…

I don't think the excitement I get talking about Aenema and Figure 8 is the problem… the problem is that I should be able to have those same convos with strangers about On The Beach by Neil Young, Washingmachine by Sonic Youth, Doolittle by the Pixies, or Meat Is Murder by The Smiths. It's even getting hard to find people who light up when you mention Rubber Soul nowadays… let's bring back that childish adoration, for all great bands.

Also, Jane's Addiction rips. They made Jane Says and Mountain Song. They have cred with me for life.
