Harrison Ford carried this entire movie. Without him, Air Force One would've been just another forgotten 90s action film.

Don't rip on "The Postman." It's Tom Petty's one and only movie.

I'm confused about a certain plot point. If Glenn Close's character finds the president unfit then wouldn't she be next in line? Not the defense secretary? Who themself would be like 4th in line after speaker of the house?

Kevin made the right choice by recommending Harrison. To be honest, I really liked The Postman. Have it on DVD. Airforce One, my favorite scene is when the squadron of F-15's are in full afterburner mode, so cool!

I never paid attention to WHO did film scores. But a few years ago, I was thinking about some of my favorite scores, and starter looking up who did them. I was shocked to find that many of my favorites from the 90s were my favorites for a reason.
Air Force One, The River Wild, Mulan, Dennis the Menace, US Marshals.

Air Force One, would have been better, had they not cheaped out on the CG, when the jet crashed landed.

A movie prop AF1 fooled the US NAVY? The production team did a great job building it! Now we’re gonna need a part two movie after the new AF1 takes flight.

8:35 the picture you show here is an MC-130J. I worked on that exact tail for a while.
Update, the later shot is closer, but still not a Talon II. You got the point across, and this is not a criticism, just pointing out. You run a great channel and I appreciate your trivia!

Such a great movie! I still enjoy popping in the DVD and watching it on surround sound. It was such a fabulous cast of actors! There are so many heart-stopping moments. Melanie's execution just puts a cold lead weight in your stomach. However, I have to say the one that really got me, was when they shot major Caldwell at the end of the movie. I don't know why, but that death scene just really broke my heart.
