17:42 I understand the argument for going back to senators being chosen by state legislatures, but leaving out why the 17th Amendment happened gives a pretty incomplete picture. The old system caused long deadlocks where Senate seats stayed vacant for months or even years, and it became heavily associated with bribery, party machines, and wealthy industrialists basically buying influence through state legislators. By the early 1900s, a lot of states were already using popular votes and pledge systems to work around it, so the amendment didn’t just appear out of the hope to make the government bigger. It was a response to serious corruption and dysfunction in the system they had.

The last story is exactly why i dont support the death penalty. False accusations and false prosecutions happen all the time. I would rather have a horrible criminal just spend life in prison than risk having an innocent person be put to death by a flawed legal system. One innocent persons death is already too much.

It is crazy that these true crime channels that are already exploiting people that were hurt also are promoting better health which is going to exploit you steal your health information and then sell it to other sites to try and sell you more products based on your health records
