It’s a testament to your character to speak with such openness. Your positive attitude can only help you as you progress through this ordeal. It could happen to any of us. And I only hope that I could show half of the strength that you are showing if it were me instead of you.
You are on my mind a lot and I wish you nothing but the best …because you deserve it. Keep the faith Pete through the music that you love. Play it as much as you can !! And keep on keeping on !

Man, what is it with this year? So many people hit with heavy stuff, .myself included. You're doing great, Pete! We're all with you!
Since Doom metal is the order of the day, for my number 15 pick, I'm going with the debut by Morgion, Among Majestic Ruin. Their next two albums would prove to be downright masterpieces, but this was a good beginning.

First of all, Best wishes Pete. Now, ladies and gentlemen, today's pick. It's a C&W album, Just the Same by Terri Clark. She is on the rocking side of country. This is a good solid country album. What influenced me to buy it is this. It has a cover version of Warren Zevon's Poor, Poor Pitiful Me. I first heard it by Linda Ronstadt, a country rock pioneer. I found out that Warren wrote it. Heard his version, then Terri's version. Then I bought this album. I've never heard a bad version of the song. As always, enjoy the music, from 1996, and take care. 😊 That goes for you too Mr. Pardo. 😊

Another incredible traditional doom metal album from 1996 is 'Downfall' from Solitude Aeturnus. Essential listening for any doom fan drawing inspiration from classic Black Sabbath and Candlemass – Robert Lowe's vocals are some of the best in the genre.
