The Bible says this stuff out. After a man dies, he leaves the earth to his reward, evil or good… The rich man desired to come back to tell his brothers that hell was real and was denied. Abraham said they had Moses and the prophets and though One be raised from the dead, they still would not believe. Another bit is in Enoch where the sons of the fallen were to be killed and wander the earth to deceive and destroy, to afflict the sons of men until the great judgment of the day of the Lord Jesus Christ. We are in vessels, protected from the seas of entities that beset us daily and what we feed, we breed. On the day God calls forth our spirit and our vessel breaks, the spirit goes to whom it served in life. We end up where we paddle to y'all. Jesus is it… We die without Him

If you’re so inclined (a believer in the Bible), there’s a few scriptures that are very clear on this subject. Essentially, the Bible says ghosts are real, but they’re definitely not the disembodied souls of man. They’re spiritual beings (either good or evil) that can manifest themselves to living beings. The evil ones will present themselves (in some cases) as a deceased family member, etc… interesting subject to research.
