Stop Worrying About The Past – How Time Saves From Us From Our Problems

Pursuit of Wonder | March 15, 2026

Whether we like it or not, time will move us forward and away from whatever is happening right now. So if something bad just happened, is happening, or will happen, you can count on being able to move on from it.

"Because you are human, and you are forced to move on"
    my brain: Challenge accepted

All feelings fade. Some fade only with death. Time only heals when you're letting go.

clearly he's never spoken to me, or someone like me. some of us obsess over our past worries and mistakes like they're still fresh in our minds, even if we don't entirely recall all the details as accurately as if they'd happened recently. not that i'm trying to sound like an asshole or something, i don't mean to. i agree what he's saying, and that we shouldn't worry so much and just move forward, but coming from many years of struggling to do just that, i understand how hard it can be for some people, and how others might overlook the pain that some people go through, not being able to let it go so easily. i'm trying though

I really needed this video rn. I wish I had it months ago when I was at my worst, but this vid showed me that, not only what I went through matters anymore, but the emotions I felt after as well. This video really put things into perspective, and you guys have one more subscriber for it. Thanks 😊

Thank you this deserves so much more recognition, not only because it helped me but I’m 100% confident that others would benefit just from taking a few minutes too watch a listen. So share with someone that might need this šŸ’™

I feel sad that I forget. Even the embarrassing and hurtful things. To think that all those memories, despite them being attached to a powerful emotions, can be lost so easily. I wish I could choose when to forget.
