Kate Hudson & Jeremy Allen White | Actors on Actors

Kate Hudson and Jeremy Allen White are both in movies that center around musical legends. Hudson stars in ‘Song Sung Blue,’ based on the true story of two Neil Diamond interpreters in Wisconsin. White, on the other hand, steps into the role of Bruce Springsteen in ‘Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere.’ The two bond over their love of music while they discuss stealing from other actors, White wearing some of Springsteen’s clothes in the film, and what makes a great rom-com.

    I really liked this one. I feel like inspired Jeremy to be more social and open. I remember he did one of these with Jennifer Coolidge and it just seemed awkward. He just didn’t really seem to vibe with her, he seemed uncomfortable. I don’t mean any negativity towards Jennifer. She is a very solid comedic actor and can be really great too.

    At around 8:16: I love that she gets so involved with the sets while she’s shooting. I think that is so cool. When I was acting, I felt the same way: I loved talking with the crew memebers and learning a bit more about what they do. (As an actor, I was no where near as successful as her. I wish! But I worked, got paid and don’t regret it).
