NOVA “Weathering the Future” Clips and Panel Discussion
Join producers and experts from NOVA’s “Weathering the Future” for clips, a panel discussion, and audience Q&A.
“Weathering the Future,” a new documentary from NOVA, examines how extreme weather in the U.S. impacts more people – with longer heat waves, more intense storms, megafires, and droughts – and how Americans are fighting back by marshaling ancient wisdom and innovating new solutions. The film is part of NOVA’s national “Climate Across America” initiative, spotlighting how climate change is affecting communities across the country, and the innovative solutions being implemented to address the climate crisis. Follow and join the conversation on social media using #ClimateAcrossAmerica.
Major funding for “Weathering the Future” and the “Climate Across America” Science and Society Project is provided by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Additional funding is provided by the GBH Planet Future Fund.

Chemtrailing Geoengineering chemicals being deliberately sprayed daily relentlessly killing fowl, making the population sickly , the fallout going into the water on the vegetation. It’s by government design. Geocentric enclosed system. We are commanded by the creator to be good stewards over the creation. Turbines and co2 pipelines are not the solution.

A trigger event is the key. The atmosphere tends to remain stratified; they call this the Theta-V dynamic. Breaking that stratification is easy; the wind from a prior storm usually triggers another storm, and another, and so on. We see these lines of storms starting in the west or the south and can go thousands of miles. With a large greenhouse, several square kilometers, it's large, but the payback period is 3 or 4 years; without considering many benefits, we can tip the atmosphere into precipitation with amazing benefits, more than natural rain. Regional cooling is possible, converting the Sahara, the Arabian Peninsula, and the US Southwest as well as Mexico's North and hundreds of other regions into gardens so that we can let nature have other more important ecological niches. The book explaining Pluvicopia technology acknowledges that engineering must follow comprehensive numerical modeling, but we can repair the planet from fossil fuel damage in a matter of decades, in time to save biodiversity and our species. If you don't have a sanguine attitude as NOVA proposes, Pluvicopia is a critical technology.

Both the strongest believers and the strongest deniers of global warming and the ‘amplified greenhouse effect’ producing it live in the country that is seeing its most dramatic effect, the melting of its vast tundra’s permafrost. Though this will provide a longer growing season for them, ‘global climate change’ will disrupt food security for most of the rest of the world.

Very disappointing that the documentary is not available to be played in the EU without a VPN. This should be made globally available to watch!!!

Soo I’m curious to know if ANYONE here knows the REAL TRUTH & FACT that our climate is NOT warming but has, in fact, been COOLING for the last few decades … and NO I am not being a smartass – the global “warming” has been the ultimate hoax spread by GOVERNMENTS but the FACTUAL EVIDENCE shows across the board that we are cooling at a RAPID RATE

EVs won't save the planet. You are simply creating more problems while virtue signaling.
Hilarious watching a Prius do 90mph on the highway with environmental stickers all over it.
Same people that got the vaxx 20 times.

It’s ironic that so many people are simultaneously misanthropes and autotheists. The first impulse is exemplified by George Carlin, who said that when the human race is extinct, the only sign it ever existed will be all the plastic waste it left behind—and that he was okay with that, so long as humans ceased to exist. The second impulse is to believe, apparently, that human beings, or some subset of them, are all-wise (science—or the current state of it—must be our guide!), all-powerful (we are destroying our world and must make the scapegoats among us suffer for it!), and omnibenevolent (the chosen ones among us may sin all they want—private jets, 20,000 ft2 homes, etc.—if they are doing the work of climate justice for the meek and humble!).

hard to believe people are so gullible as to believe what they're told to (climate crisis non-sense), opposed to what they can see for themselves

the really big concern for the population of the planet is the warming Arctic area, five million square miles of methane hydrates, extremely flammable and when it gets warm enough that the frozen ground can no longer contain it, it is going to start venting in massive quantities, once the methane gets ignited, life on earth will be changed forever, within about two weeks greenland will be completely melted, and within 6 weeks, if you were to draw a line around the planet at roughly the US Canadian border, most every bit of the planet will be permanently uninhabitable. As for the weather patterns around the rest of the planet, food is going to be scarce, and billions will meet their end.
the event of the Arctic catching fire is pretty much inevitable, there really should be some kind of plan set up to evacuate the north.
