We don’t need Crisper to insert special DNA, all we need is the sun and proper mind/spirit/emotional control. When you make something small you enter quantum mechanics, you can't simply take a car and make a really small car, the technology from a car does not work the same at that scale. Inventing a nano car isn't really possible either, because the physics don't allow for that kind of complexity…
We have reached a level of understanding of the universe where we know what is possible and what is not, so no faster than light travel, no nanobots, no Jedi powers, No God (the physics of our universe doesn't allow for a soul.).

We are all psychic we just have to develop all of them. Maybeee not telekinesis but we still have many capabilities and as he said using gene editing and making a lightsaber. After that all we need is luxurious fancy robes and a beautiful building and an archive.

The Jedi actually use precognition as they are so in tune with the Force. Another ability the Jedi possessed was Force Speed, were they would speed up there body greatly allowing them to cover great distances and fight like they do.
Fun fact: some Jedi like Luke Skywalker could harness Force Lightning although not all 5 variants.

I mean, the Jedi remind me of the Sohei of medieval period japan in terms of as a religious warrior institution. The Sohei are very interesting, I recommend researching them
