9/11: 25 Years Later Remembering The Day the World Stood Still
On September 11, 2001, the world changed forever.
What began as an ordinary Tuesday morning quickly became one of the most consequential days in modern history. In New York City, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania, thousands of lives were lost, countless families were changed forever, and millions watched in disbelief as events unfolded in real time.
As we mark the 25th anniversary of 9/11, this documentary revisits that morning — from the first reports of a hijacked aircraft and the devastating attacks on the World Trade Center, to the desperate calls from those trapped inside, the courage of firefighters and first responders, and the extraordinary efforts of ordinary people who came together in the aftermath.
Through archival recordings, eyewitness accounts, survivor stories, photographs, and powerful moments from that day, we remember not only what happened, but the people behind the headlines.
Twenty-five years later, the towers are gone, but the memories remain.

25 years later and the US government still hasn't learned to not start wars with other countries.
25 years later and they're still not investigating the Saudis.
25 years later and more people have died from 9/11 related environmental illnesses than perished on the day.
25 years later and civilian lives will always be sacrificed for oil, arms and drugs.

30:05 That’s not even Chief Pfeifer?
I could tell by looking at him, but also because the guy speaking says he learned about the disaster from TV and was activated through FEMA, whereas Chief Pfeifer saw the crash with his own eyes while out with his crew (and a documentarian) checking a reported gas leak. Pfeifer and his men then drove straight to the towers a few blocks away.
I thought the narration sounded a bit artificial, and this error is just making me think this whole doc could’ve been cobbled together with AI.

Thank you for your great work in creating this video. I've watched probably a dozen or more documentaries on 9/11 surmounting many, many hours of footage including the National Geographic ones. But I saw things in this that I hadn't beforehand. All heartbreaking and difficult to watch but fulfilling in gathering the totality of that day. I'll always take more and more of it because I care deeply about all those lost that day and feel compelled to because of the loss of life and holding their memory. Many, many tears and heartfelt response. We'll never forget and are all forever changed by that day, respectfully.

16:40 it is currently believed that this man is Jonathan Bryley. This photo was taken in a series of snapshots that demonstrates his fall was NOT a controlled nosedive, but an uncontrolled tumble to his death. God rest his soul
18:40 the Towers were designed to withstand impact from a Boeing 707. The planes that hit them in 2001 were three hundred pounds heavier and full of jet fuel for their cross-continental flights

After nine-eleven FOX News reporters Carl Cameron and Brit Hume did a story about Israeli spying on the U.S. and possible foreknowledge of the attack. Who were the men that seemed to be celebrating the attack on top of a van in New Jersey? They were arrested later that day by Officer Scott DeCarlo of the East Rutherford Police Department. These men were not Arabs. When will all of the nine-eleven files be released?

My soul won’t let me forget! That day, I was asleep but then felt the immense feeling of something bad happening. I got up, turned on the TV and then saw it. Over the years, I’ve listened to many stories from survivors and families of those who died. 😢 Because one day, I will be passing on these stories to future generations.
