    Every time I see the most sketchiest AI generated or scammy ads on YouTube and then I click to see who the advertiser is it's always based in Cyprus maybe 95% of the time

    I used to live in Russia, Tatarstan, and i remember applying to one of the 5-minute crafts photographer jobs. The owners of the Soul publishing are originally from Tatarstan. So they had a huge office there. It was filled with all the dumb props they used for videos, different rooms and stuff. They asked us not to take pictures. And we just dat there with an hr, completed some info and left. They never hired me, but still, i saw the making of 5 minute crafts in real life. Before that they had a pretty good website called Adme. It was essentially translations of different news about marketing or art. It's one of the oldest websites on Russian internet.

    Why does this sound more dramatic than it should be, with the faces and the music and random pauses in sentences to build suspense. The truth is horrifying enough, you don't have to package it for a 10 yo brain for us to understand.

    You can't just shadow drop Polar, the shitty GenAI vocaloid ripoff, being a creation by TheSoul like that. Learning that a literal russian capitalist bot farm company tried to push shitty AI as far back as that is kind of mindblowing and proves the scale of this dead internet nonsense.

    9:41 what was the original phrasing in this? If there was the word "неправильно" used here, it has all sorts of connotations, from "incorrect" to "not right".

    18:58 This is clearly bot activity, and I disagree with the notion that Google was complacent. It would help explain why some of the channels went missing.

    I knew they always were russian farms accounts, you could always tell my the objects in the background. Also on the way back machine there's screenshots with all their channels listed in order.

    are the subscribers between the accounts unique or just the same bots following all 700 accounts? this is the misinformation they talk about that is being spread and fear that they say is being mongered. The sensation they be -alizing. The comparison to Mr. Beast is so deceitful. What if you combined all his accounts with overlapping subscribers? What does the graph look like then?

    Wheres the revenue? Is it just adsense from bot views? I love how youtube just takes their hush money, to then turn around and take advertiser money, knowing its just bots watching all the ads.

    This is insane. Literally no wonder why there is so much ai slop without real viewers. Thats how you become a youtube partner. This is the Dead Internet tho, everyone is using bots to create content for other bots. You end up on a part of the internet where humans arent even meant to be.

    I'm convinced 5-minute crafts is a pseudo-USSR project funded by Putin that makes videos that lowers the IQ of the average child by watching their godawful arts and crafts videos, while making it colorful and trendy for children. So far, I've seen more children than adults watch this channel and it's effective.
