That is so much the case with so many famous places. Even in my own country we have the same issue. About 20 years ago, we decided to go on holiday in the north or our country and took a day ride out from where we were staying to a place Called Pilgrims rest. Thinking it would be like a museum tour, in stead it was little shops selling trinkets in more than half the buildings, the rest you couldn't enter. Then getting back to the car, you have some guy demand money as he had 'washed' the car for you. With out asking and the water was so dirty that it left grit on the windows. And got highly upset when we told him to get lost.

If I ever get the chance and can afford it, I'd rather book somewhere off the beaten track and what money I would of spent on the trourist traps. Either do my own research. Or if lucky enough to find a some one local and willing to host me and pay them (vetted of course). One would have a far better experince and money would go to those that actually need it. You would get to see the true country. If I'm to go places i want to experience that and not another place to go party. One can do that back home without the big price tag.

I have been to a Ripleys believe it or not in Chicago, when I was teen, I thought it was cool… I do not remember is costing anything to get in, although it probably did

Technology design I actually like Hard Rock Cafe. I only go there if it’s someplace that I have been to many times. I go to Myrtle Beach every year and that one yeah downtown Myrtle Beach is very touristy, but you have to admit you’d be lying to yourself if you didn’t love a good tourist trap every once in a while. Those types of places are very enjoyable with the right expectations. We have a vacation home up in the north end of Myrtle Beach and that end is very chill. When I want to see the neon laden Boardwalk, I just go and visit it for the day. But as for Hard Rock Cafe, I like the rock ‘n’ roll music playing from the speakers inside loud and clear with some thumping base. The food is actually pretty good. I like their barbecue bacon cheeseburger.

Stonehenge is the only one on my bucket list and it will remain. The Stone Circle Access Visit is only 70BP (about $100 USD). Totally worth it.
I don't need trinkets, t-shirts or to even touch it, I only need to stand inside it and drink it in for 10 minutes. I hope I make some day.

It's insane that there's over 195 countries in the world, all with their own unique sites and attractions, yet this list is 70% American attractions. This video was a waste of time.

Add Sweden because little spoiled brat doom goblins there make any tourist cringe. I mean Greta Thunberg! Also Switzerland because many crazy ancient astronaut theorists are from there! I mean Erich von Daniken!
