I've never actually sat down and watched the entire movie from beginning to end. I've only seen parts of it. However, I went blind in my early twenties, and I attended college a couple of years afterwards. One of my English professors, who was a female, would occasionally goof around and act like she was throwing a tantrum. Tantrum. It was quite funny, especially when you couldn't see it. However, I never had the heart to tell her, that every time she would do that, I would get images of frank-and-furter in my mind. Not 100% sure why, but that's the image that it brought, when she would do that. Great video! Keep doing what you do!

I just got in my driver’s license when the 15th anniversary hit. That’s when I became fully aware of rhps.

There was a huge marketing push, at least in Southern California. I was “de-virginized“ at the fiesta 5 on State Street in Santa Barbara California.

This one really takes me back. Thank you for behind the scenes trivia and for respecting Tim Curry.

My cousin who was much more worldly than myself had seen this at a theatre in NYC and was adamant that we "experience" this movie. I watched it without a crowd that knew what to do, and it was abysmal. I saw it with a troupe in NYC and audience response and a switch was thrown! It became our mission to recreate it musically and perform it for our friends. We built the cast, everyone learned their lines, we memorized every note as precisely as we could. All of this without an official script or written score! We convinced our local theater to allow us to do the show in front of the show with the original sound muted for most of the movie. We sent out invitations to buy tickets, we "seeded" the audience with cast members who knew the response lines, props, and timing. We told people to bring newspapers, water guns, rise, toast (or bread), etc. We introduced the whole thing as an experience they would never forget. I played Curry's role as Frank, mimicking him almost exactly. The people ate it up. The theater, not so much, and we spent a couple hours the next day cleaning up. But for me, the bug had bitten, and I needed to keep it up.

I was part of a troupe in NY, then FL, then IL and WI, then San Diego, then active duty obligations and life took over. That first theater is burned to the ground now, and I walk past it when I visit family and think, "Damn, that place was smaller than I remember!" It had a balcony and was so old (how old was it?) it was so old that it had a piano in the front, a stage, and curtains that had to be pulled by a stagehand! It was from the time before the "talkies".

It saddened myself and millions more when Tim Curry had a stroke, and now his legacy lives on through his many parts in so many great movies. Here's to so many people who had to clean up toast, rice, and drenched newspaper on Sunday morning and the fun loving folks who still see it in tiny theatres around the world.

Rocky Horror was so much better than I expected it to be. As a kid, my friends used to talk about it a lot, sing the songs, and my school even did the play but I still had never seen the movie. By the time I’d seen it, Susan Sarandon was already Thelma and Louise and Tim Curry was in Annie, Home Alone, and my fav movie Clue, so this was a HUGE shock to me. Anyway, I loved this movie, even watching 20+ years after release.

I have never seen this movie, but I have heard that it's a good one.

I have the most ridiculous story about how this movie came into my life. So I was a teenager at a church youth group sleepover and wanted to watch Beauty And The Beast, the only other person still awake convinced me I’d like this better; so we watched this instead. Turns out he was right. 🤣🤣🤣

I remember seeing clips on late night TV throughout the years and it peaked my interest. I finally saw it on VH1 in 1995 during a 20 year anniversary. RIP Tim Curry and Meatloaf.
