Came here to learn about the drum part for Musicology. I didn't realize Hannah Welton would be the performer. I was in jazz theory class with her back at Chicago College of Performing Arts. Cool to see her doing awesome stuff like this. I doubt she'd remember me, but still it's cool when former classmates go on to succeed at a high level.

Prof Dr Stelios Bekiros: #hannahwelton Hi Hannah, you're amazing! Analyse the classic "Love to love you baby" by G. Moroder. Almost all sheet music transcribed it wrong on drums, especially the enter in the 2nd bar. They don't 'match' it with the bass line properly. It's more of an "egg sliding" groove and not a complete "even" 16ths, nor a dotted 8th before 2nd bar is right. Within each bar it's more of a 6ths and only last bar concludes with four 16ths. Looking forward!

Thank you for your video, you are a great drummer/teacher ! I would love to hear you play with different drum settings, funky setting, especially your snare tuning toward short and high, it will sound sooo funky with your play.
