If you liked Rosewater, and you like mystery games, you really should give Lamplight City a try. Technically Rosewater is a sort-of-sequel (the main character in Rosewater is the sibling of a character in Lamplight City) although the genre is very different. Lamplight City is also inspired by Gabriel Knight, Poe stories and Charles Dickens! It's one of my favourite point & click games out there.

I deeply appreciate that you made this video. My husband and I absolutely love the Laura Bow and Gabriel Knight games, so when I clicked on this video and saw your review of Blake Manor, that greatly piqued my interest! I never would have known about it, otherwise, so thank you! We will definitely be checking it out!

You should make a dedicated point-and-click video. You say you found a lot of good ones last year, and I haven't experienced any other than The Drifter, which I'm hfway through now.

The Seance of Blake Manor was a magnificent game. The immersion was magnificent. Also, not that anyone cares, but I got 17/21 and 32 in 37 on my first playthrough 😉

I love point and click games. I tried Darkseed 2 a while ago couldn't figure anything out 😢 you sold me on Drifter I need that today

I played the first duck detective, it was fun but too short
Edit: oops I meant to ask are you doing a full playthrough of seance at blake manor PLEASE DO I just miss hearing you comment on games during playthroughs. Final edit : and Rosewater pls

I was surprised how much I liked Duck Detective. Id seen the trailers and things, but I dont know, it just looked kinda simple. I wasn't prepared for how charming it was, the whole goofy office politics plot, the silly puns, the fact that the Duck Detective VA fully plays it like its all a deadly serious crime of the utmost importance. I liked that with the mad libs case things, they were not super complex, but you did need to pay attention to the clues to get it right. It got that light puzzling just right. I immediately bought the second.

Ended up checking out Blake Manor and loving the game, but now I'm extremely curious what was the final mystery ye missed xD I have now completed almost all mysteries
Edit: …I have no all except one mystery and I can't form hypothesis on this one even though I have 17/18 evidence :'D why do I get feeling this is the same one…
