Why Starbucks Sucks Now
Why have people turned their backs on Starbucks?
The coffee chain was once wildly popular, but worse drinks, stealthy price hikes, and excessive wait times have left customers fed up.
And it’s all about to hit a boiling point.

More Perfect Union is an Emmy-winning, nonprofit newsroom whose mission is to build power for working people. Here’s what that means: We report on the real struggles and challenges of the working class from a working-class perspective. We attempt to connect those problems to potential solutions. We report on the abuses and wrongdoing of corporate power. And we seek to hold accountable the ultra-rich who have too much power over America’s political and economic systems.

Starbucks is mid now because ten years ago they had no competition now they do and they thought their customer base would stay loyal.

I'm always baffled by how business people can be so dumb, blind and greedy. Sure let's cut down on quality and service and inflate the prices, what could possibily go wrong?

As a flight attendant, I can’t tell you how many half FULL cups of Starbucks I collect on the plane. They rarely finish the drink. Throwing money away.

No, I never felt I needed to be at Starbucks. Not a coffee drinker and the cost was insane. I could never get passed the idea of paying more for a coffee than a meal.

I was in Starbucks this morning while out on a ride. 7 employees behind the counter and for a good three minutes no one stepped up to help us. We left. Done.

I don't go there anymore. Yeah.. their places are noisy, dirty tables, dirty bathrooms, homeless hanging out in them. They're mostly frequented by Chinese Nationals. Who knows what they're doing in there on their computers.

Lol… hiring progressive employees and messages…you get what you wish for. You don't need anything but basic skills and work ethic and your salary reflects it. Want to make more money? Find a job that requires a specialized skill… Like plumbing or carpentry. Simply supply and demand. This is not price gouging…you have a choice. This video is a joke with little understanding of basic economics, or organizational theory.

All those people working at starbucks collectively have the experience to start there own national chain. "Union coffee" anyone? I hate starbucks, always have, disgusting stuff, never liked the atmosphere, never liked the coffee. Coffee Bean is better. But instead of you guys fighting them, LEAVE, MAKE YOUR OWN COFFEE SHOP, I bet you can get investors that will deal with the UNION. Or make a co op, everyone is the owner, and everyone gets paid the same from the cashier to the CEO.

All CEO's and corporate employees need to work in the stores s actual baristas to see how their new policies and silly ideas work! they are totally clueless.

Every one of these woke barista hippies looks exactly like you’d guess a woke hippie would look. It’s incredible. Also, I love all the clips of customers complaining about their drinks, which they continue to buy obviously. And then our intrepid reporter, in her fashionable Starbucks-green top, using her superior I-Know-Everything-Yet-I-Just-Turned-25 tone. I mean, it all really is just perfect. Carry on.

The entire US business model is to get a minority wealthy and squeezing all others dry. Eventually there will be a revolution.
