5:59 that was Q saying to spike lee “fuck u, I can make incredible 3 movies and not have the n word in it. And just cuz u put me on blast I’m gonna make a movie based in antebellum south and u ain’t gonna say shit.”

His role in Pulp Fiction wasn't a cameo. A cameo is when you aren't playing anyone and you're just being yourself. He played a minor character in the movie.

Seems like this video is getting a lot of views/likes not based on the title, but what this guy's been through? At least that's what the comments are telling me. Tbh, I was surprised a video with this title had so many likes… until I read the comments.

I’m sorry but pulp fiction is just a good movie. That’s it. It’s not revolutionary or amazing or unbelievable, just good. Same with the rest of his movies. Yeah he’s a director. Cool. Good movies. Lmfao

Yeah, so I'm not going to defend Tarantino by any means. While a great film maker, he's weird as hell and you've given me more than enough to be turned off my him as a person. That being said, I couldn't care less about the N-word stuff. Look, I don't like the N-word. I don't use it and I don't like hearing it. But ultimately, you and I are white people. We do not get to decide if he gets a pass for this stuff. While I do find it odd how obsessed with it, if the people whom the word directly affects are not offended by it, why should we? Now I'm not saying that Samuel L. Jackson speaks for all black people. Obviously he doesn't. But I can't help but notice that most people offended by the use of the N-word (that I've seen) are white. So while I personally don't care for it, I'm not going to condemn him for it. It's not my word to judge. Not yours either. But if anybody has a different take on this, please educate me.

every head on photo of tarantino looks like one of those dream sequences in movies where where a loved one turns around and suddenly has the villain's face

Am i the only ne who think QT films are overrated…. I was hoping this would break more than just the N-word issue with QT.. but the fact his films are juvenile, stylish with morbid implications and shocking just for the sake of shocking

    I’ve never liked him.

The bullshit “nervous energy” is, to me, an affectation he adopts to make him seem edgy.

The vast majority of his films have interesting characters with some snappy dialogue, but they disappear up their own ass in silliness at the end (Hatefull 8, Kill Bill, Basterds, Once Upon a Time, Django…all ridiculous nonsense for the denouement).

He is the proverbial ’Naked Emperor’.

I also have an unshakable sense that he’s a deviant with a history that has yet to reveal itself.

If you can't get over the language, grow up. These movies are great. Pulp Fiction is a masterpiece. Jimmy screaming about "dead ni—- storage" is one of the funniest things I've ever heard.

I love Quentin Tarantino… s' MOVIES. There. Just FIFY guys who have been feeling conflicted about the man lately.
And please, no biased revisionist history on his filmography. QT is undeniably a great writer and director – nobody can seriously take that away from him.
He just so happens to also be a complete, unredeemable, unlikeable asshole. Not the first filmmaker to be so, and he won't be the last. So yes, saying he sucks is factual.

And yes, it's the point of this whole video.

I haven't listened to a Nickelback song since I realized I could stop listening to the radio find whatever I wanted on the internet. Empty shopping mall music.

Quite frankly, I've always thought that cinephiles stroke Quentin's dick far too much. And Hollywood idolizes him more than should be acceptable – that is to say that they do it at all. At best, I think he's okay as a director. And at most, he's definitely far to attached to "that" particular racial slur and he's a raging asshat. But because he's a big name with money, far too many people give him a "pass", which just emboldens him to keep doing what he does.

He's not exactly Steven fucking Spielberg when it comes to directing. And even if he was, he's still a garbage person who shouldn't be rewarded just because "he makes movies good".

People will disagree with me, and that's fine. Art is subjective. But in my mind, Quinton has (by his own reckoning given how he classifies his filmography), only TWO good movies…even though I could technically count them as four. I love Django, Kill Bill Parts 1 & 2, and his long rumored and recently released Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair. Outside of that, I either think his movies are overrated (i.e. Pulp Fiction) or too insufferable for me to watch (i.e. The Hateful 8).

And did I mention that he's an asshat?

6:40 I feel like this is an oversimplification of what SLJ said to Leonardo Dicaprio. He more in line said that what you are experiencing right now, is what African American face on a normal day. It was less of an "N-word Pass," and more like a "be grateful"
