They can discriminate against us but they whine when we discriminate against them and only want the best for us. My back was messed up and undiagnosed for years because of a non person of color was my PCP and I KEPT complaining about painful back pain. I went to urgent care ( our ppl work there) and they gave me an X-ray. I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease which means the discs in my back are deteriorating….it is VERY PAINFUL….I don't take medicine prescribed, I do herbal remedies and massages. It helps but I just hated how the doctor was more concerned about how many cigarettes I smoked EVERY VISIT vs me tryna see what was wrong with my back

When they wanted to have their Return to the Land all white community, we let them have it. We had no lawsuits about them wanting unseasoned food, not using washing, and marrying cousins.

I had to switch from my black gyn. She had terrible bedside manner. Love my current one who helped me deliver my twins. She was excellent. You can hardly see my scar. All my other docs are black. If you’re a doctor or business owner, do not take this concerted effort to support your black business or practice for granted. Have good bedside manner and customer service.

Why do I get this strange feeling that the myth about black people having thicker skin and not feeling pain the same way as white people originated when some whip-cracker was explaining to his son why you got to hit them harder.

Yt male doctors also completely discount yt women's medical concerns. They only serve yt men. They give substandard care to EVERYONE else.

I pick women medical care providers exclusively except in ers. I prefer black women because my personal experience is they are very emotionally caring as well as well informed. I try to only pick black women doctors when there is more than one or I know they aren't busy because I don't want to take space from black people who need care.

In 2019 my mom’s husband had his 3rd stroke, 2nd one at this hospital. They treated him for a drug overdose…he had absolutely no drugs in his system. He did not make it

This is another situation where yt men feel like THEY deserve to inhabit every space, whether they are wanted or not. I remember there was a female membership gym in CA where women & girls could go & feel safe & comfortable. Well, yt men had a prob with it bc they couldn’t get in. They’ve had male-only clubs for hundreds of yrs. Women couldn’t even work there. But let women make a space for themselves & yt men want to burn it down. Same thing. They don’t want blk ppl in THEIR spaces, but wanna burn down ANYTHING we build for ourselves. The true definition of evil!

She ate! This doctor can f all the way off! My degree is in Psychology and one of my areas of study was the medical discrimination against POC and like she said specifically black women. It’s absolutely disgusting and unacceptable this is still an issue. I even see it as a medical coder now. Doctors not listening to black incarcerated men that come to our facility from the prison. It makes my blood boil.

We're a black couple, my wife is a doctor, and when she was in labor with our son, a white nurse comes to me and says "oh you must be baby daddy". I wanted to punch the blue out her eyes! Even black doctors will tell you about the racism in medicine.

Dr Travis Morrell should be thoroughly humiliated and ashamed by this sermon. After this I won’t want to be on the site.

I’ve been in some situations of doctors not listening to me. I found a black Doctor I hope she doesn’t go anywhere. I like her!
