The amphitheater in Pompeii is 150 years older than Rome Colosseum also the first stone arena. Titus was in power like less than a year when it opened his Daddy built it. He was the first guy to inherit the Roman throne he died after ruling like a year his crazy younger brother then took charge. Last interesting part is it open buy July 80 ad Pompeii meet its end on August 24th 79 Ad Titus's father died Jun 23rd 79 ad Titus died September 13 81 ad. From 79 ad to 81 ad was some of the craziest times in Roman history. I did not know they built it on top of crazy Nero's house. That is awesome.

The vast majority of the rock used to build the Giza pyramids was limestone that was quarried locally. It's easier to work and, because it's less dense, it weighs less than granite.

The Brazilian Christ statue should never be included. There was some competition for to make a list of the new wonders, and a Brazilian telco gave free phonecalls for people to vote for the Christ statue, and the contest was voided by corruption.

The building of the pyramids isn't described at all. If the scientists doesn't have any plausible theory, how this channel can explain it in 3 minutes?

I think it's bs that I pay for YT premium and are still subject to stupid ads in the middle of videos. I shouldn't have to skip anything if I pay $16 a month.

The Colosseum chapter was my favorite – learning how much of its travertine was carted off for later buildings like St. Peter's makes you look at Rome differently. Which wonder's downfall hit you hardest?

Most of these buildings were not made by the people who inhabit the place now. Just think about that for a second. Not a single beautiful thing has been made since the ancient world because modernity is so lacking in creativity and imagination and most of all, in spirit. All these structures were made by people who had tremendous souls. (Not the religious soul but of character) modernity just exists of glass slabs, dull painted walls and with no reverence of anything but the individual narcissism of the owner. Everything is ugly by purposeful design. And we live in cities filled with broken human spirit, with no cultural relevance or future. Just one concrete slab beside another glass house.

I'm so tired of the egyptologists pushing the lie of a tomb, the pyramids were NOT built by the Egyptians, the pyramids were NOT tombs, the pyramids were power stations, the pyramids were more than likely built by a civilization of people far smarter and larger than what a human is today….
The pyramids are anywhere from 12,500 to 36,000 years old ….
Connect the dots and the truth shall be revealed…..

From the inside-out from the ground down like the pyramids pulleys and wet trees , fire and water is how the made the blocks I watched and old movies were they got stuck in a chamber of the pyramid the guide said lucky they hat fire to see and water to drink cause that's how they would get out the same way they were made .

Pity the Romans aren't still around! We could use them to have built the HS2 Rail Station at Old Oak Common in north London.
It's been under construction for several years, and not expected to be completed for almost another 10 years!!
Maybe we should have got the Chinese to build it, that would have seen it completed by now!😅
