What IRON MAIDEN will change for 2026 Run For Your Lives tour

Metal Pilgrim | May 15, 2026

Iron Maiden about to kick off the 2026 leg of their Run For Your Lives Tour, and it looks like we’re up for a couple of awesome surprises.

Now, first of all, I have to come clean. When the 2026, uh, Run For Your Lives Tour was announced, I was actually 100% sure that Iron Maiden will not be changing anything regarding their set list or production.

First of all, well, that was before we knew that Iron Maiden would be going back to Europe with their Run For Lives Tour, and secondly, because, well, I actually thought that the set list as it was in 2025 was perfect already. And I definitely did not think that Iron Maiden would be going for pretty much any changes because, first of all, the production of that tour is massive, possibly like nothing that Iron Maiden have done before, and thus changing pretty much anything in that show would be very and very costly for the band. Secondly, I actually believed, and I still believe, that the 2025 set list for the Run For Your Lives Tour was very well-balanced. But it does look like I might have been wrong.

Infinite Dreams and at least one song from No Prayer would make me SO HAPPY!!!! Just any song but Bring Your Daughter please lol, i don't dislike it but I would just much rather hear anything else from the album. Tailgunner or Holy Smoke would be perfect. Also, I wouldn't be sad if Wasted Years gets dropped, just cause we've had a lot of that song recently.

Am I the only one on the maiden community that thinks that To Tame a Land is ALWAYS overlooked??? I wanna hear it live just once in my life, please!

For me, one that saw most of my Maiden shows between 81-84, I really want to hear especially the first two albums. I saw them in 2007, and this year I will see them in Bogota, Colombia. I frankly don't really care. As someone who has been a rivet head since day one, just being in that building is enough. Up the Irons Earthdogs!

I'd love a completely different setlist in 2026 tour :
    Strange World,
    Charlotte The Harlot,
    Remmeber Tomorrow,
    Ghengis Khan,
    To Tame a Land,
    Back In The Village,
The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner,
    Stranger In a Strange Land,
    Alexander The Great,
    Moonchild,
    Infinite Dreams,
    Tail Gunner,
Bring Your Daughter to the Slaughter
    From Here To Eternity
    Childhood's End

    I think I can dream ^^

About two years ago when BD was in Athens with his "solo" band opening for Judas Priest he put on an ancient style helmet and sang the chorus to Alexander the Great a couple times with the crowd going nuts. I don't know whether he was "foreshadowing" something, I guess we'll find out in 8 days from now. 🥹

What would be totally mind blowing is if they did not like a 3 hours plus set list. We all know that they have more than enough material to pick from. But unfortunately due to the difficulties of their extensively touring the world. They'd probably get burned out rather quickly,
    Unfortunately.

Adrian Smith said in an interview was penciled in at the start of rehearsals but somehow, someway got scratched and he doesnt even really realize why or how. BEING IT BACK, cuz I love The Clairvoyant but it can be replaced with infinite dreams.
