Too funny! I just love the joke where Trudeau protects all Canadians from themselves by confiscating everyone's credit cards. It's good to know that Canadians have a government that makes every decision for them. Are you still allowed to have scissors? Careful, now.

it's so cute that Canadians think Americans care what they think. We love Canada precisely because we can take it for granted.

Why do seniors need knee replacement more? They are retired. A younger, working age person would need it more.

Canada has more guns, per capita, than the U.S. But, has significantly less gun violence.

"Maybe they should just come down to me," the Canadian government will literally pay for you to get a surgery in america instead of canada.

I’m not getting it.
The Canadian saying they provide no benefits for diabetes???? That is absolutely WRONG.
Even Bernie Sanders went with a group of people to Canada to prove the cost of insulin was way cheaper and getting it for a tenth of the cost in the USA!
It’s amazing how misinformed we are in this “information” age.

The gun reform thing is perfect. Most people could have 100 credit cards and be totally responsible with them. Also, Canda is a perfect example of a government lie. They claim every step is the last gun control but before long a basic hunting rifle won't be allowed (many already aren't).

The funny thing with universal healthcare is I would have paid more in taxes for it than I have for my health insurance and doctor bills for my entire life.

The US has the worst healthcare system in the world. It's run by hyper-greedy corporations and plutocrats.

Was becoming a big fan of your channel but you kinda lost me with the credit card thing, I feel I should be able to have as many credit cards as I want, I took several economics classes and I practice fiscal responsibility all the time

Canadian here. I had 4 surgeries a few years ago, and with Intensive care, would have topped $1 million. Cost me $50 for parking. Also, psychiatrists can be covered. Who gives a crap if you have to pay for an ambulance, or medications. That’s a few hundred a year. I love our imperfect health care system a lot. And when I hit 65 in a few years, it will all be free.

I'm surprised there hasn't been any riffing on politicians, especially with the many, many stupid things that Trudeau has done. Trump and Biden have also done some stupid stuff.

Credit cards are our right as Americans because 250 years ago we needed credit cards because the new govt. didn't have any. And even though though the govt. has way, way, WAY too much credit now we're NEVER gonna change that credit card law. Thoughts and prayers for everyone in debt right now.

Was that purely a metaphor thing or are credit cards genuinely harder to get in Canada? I have a U.S. Bank Card for the 5% on utilities and internet service. An Amazon Card for the 5% on Amazon purchases. a Chase Freedom Card for 3% on restaurants. A Citi Custom Cash card for 5% on groceries. And a few other specialty cards like Lowes for in-store bonuses. All together I have just under $70,000 in credit.

Okay, so her credit strategy is pretty crazy, but in her defense, USA does always pay her minimum balance and all the interest, so her credit score is actually pretty good. She gets a little testy sometimes and threatens not to pay one or the other card, but she always comes to her senses. Of course, she does usually have to get a new card to make the payments on the old cards. But each card makes a butt-load of money off of her, so they're always happy to issue another card. I mean, it's crazy, but it works.

lol, getting a driver's license in US is NOT a rigorous process! Pass a written exam, and they hand you a learner's permit, on the spot. You can start practicing driving on the roads, that same day. When you're good at it, take the driving exam. There's also a very very brief, on the spot, eye exam. Then they give you a license.
