The legendary punk band released this great set of early demos on RSD 2024 to commemorate forming 50 years ago, and I share what the vinyl includes and my initial thoughts after giving it a few spins. Here in England I got a copy of this on RSD, only to find it was severely dish-warped… Ordered another from a different store over a hundred miles away, only to find it was severely dish-warped… Ordered a third and… Well, you get the idea. Pretty sure Sire would know about this, and the distributors — and it's disgraceful that they don't care. But as long as they get our cash. :0/

Ramones were playing in this style in 1974. These demos are taken at slightly slower tempos than the album versions and are very well recorded.

We have totally different tastes in music lol, but I enjoy the descriptions you give for the records you have. It makes me want to dabble into that classic rock world. Plus its always great when everyone comes away with what they wanted for RSD. Curious to know if you tried to find the Joe Pesci record? It actually over exceeded my expectations. It's Great pressing
