Twisted Sister + Sebastian Bach… This Might Actually Work

The Hair Metal Guru | March 15, 2026

When it was announced that Twisted Sister would be teaming up with Sebastian Bach for upcoming shows, the reactions were mixed. Some fans are excited. Others think it could be a disaster.

In this video, I break down why I actually think this pairing makes sense — vocally, stylistically, and from a personality standpoint. Could this be one of the smartest moves in recent hair metal history?

Jay Jay French owns the name TWISTED SISTER, not Dee. Lots of people don't know that. Dee owned the songs/lyrics , though I believed he sold his rights…. It's totally possible Dee gets paid NOTHING

I love Sebastian, and I've seen him perform many times. He's one of the coolest guys, and he's also one of the greatest vocalists and frontmen. Sebastian is the perfect choice. Dee has blessed Sebastian, and they're old friends who get along well. It's clear that the songs from the Slave to Grind, Subhuman Race, and Child Within The Man albums, many of which Sebastian still performs brilliantly, are significantly more challenging to perform than the songs from Twisted Sister's repertoire. Sebastian is definitely up for the task. It's going to be amazing.

Eddie Ojeda and Jay Jay French are the only hold outs from the classic TS lineup. Besides, how can you replace a front man like Dee Sniderfff cb

Without Dee, It's Not "Twisted Sister". When A.J. Pero Passed, It Has Not Been The Same! What's Next?! Joe Elliott Of Def Leppard With Dee's Make Up?! What A Joke.

You get what you get with Bach. He has never wavered from who he is. I think this will go well, no matter what!!
I hope they go out and he gets dressed up in some form of TS attire and they just rock for these shows. Go all out!!! What an experience for him as a fan.

Yes, they are friends, their sons are friends, it's a good thing. Dee is totally fine with him taking the helm. I think it'll be good. People just need to understand Dee is not in good shape, or shape to do a tour, but Sebastian, he's good to hook as they say. Buy tickets!!
