Trumps plans for Iran, make obscene amounts of money for him and his cronies while betraying the American taxpayers who are footing the bill for this war. And charging the people more for each gallon of gas on a whim by the market. What happened with Venezuela, prices for gas did not benefit the american public.

This was a particularly sloppy take for you Jon. Anyone who bothered to do basic research h on Iran could tell you why they attacked multiple targets in the region. This was not some crazy unhinged act by an irrational actor. It is a completely rational strategy to target US assets in the surrounding region and make sure — just for starters — that a) regional allies know there's a COST to allying with the US and b) the US will feel the financial pain of this war as Iran's cheap drones cost the US billions in expensive military equipment, while also driving up oil prices and c) much more. Don't contribute to the hasbara with these cheap takes. You're better than this.

I've seen some gross posts calling the attack on Iran a Jewish motivated attack. Netanyahu no more represents the Jewish people then Trump represents all the Christians. For anyone who has forgotten, John Stewart is Jewish. He doesn't live in Israel, and he did NOT bomb Iran.
