Lex Legion is my favorite of the week. Takes me back to when King Diamond started his own band, and recaptured that era while still sounding fresh. I'm not sure what the hold up is with King and his new music, but Lex Legion is a great substitute.

All the boffins love khamis. I was excited then fell asleep. 🤷‍♂️ I don’t get it. Meanwhile, Bloodhunter hits the sweet spot

So thrilled to see Khemmis topping your list. This is easily my #1 album so far this year.

My personal opinion (as a 53 yo.) Both Nr1 A and B are kinda clichéic. Nothing new there. I'm not saying they are bad. Soulburn isn't a master of ineventivity itself, but at least is heavy. Great show! I watch it every week.

Khemmis and Fires in the Distance are my favorites for this week. Soulburn picked my interest though.

Listened to Tarja's album this morning. Maybe it's a recency bias, but it's her best album imho.

Still don't get Khemmis, not bleak & dreary enough for a doom band and don't get whatever else they're doing – but hey, they can't please everybody

The Evil Age album on Bandcamp is listed at $666. Is that a joke? I guess they want their fans to find it for free on some file sharing website. Definitely not paying six hundred bucks for it, would gladly pay $6.66 though

I like the music by Bloodhunter but the vocalist literally does the same tone all the way through and the only song that that seems to work on is The Devils Own. So many places where a change up in the vocals would have been good.
