Thanks for always giving us a regular schedule to show up for. I haven't listened to anything new this week. I took a week to scroll through some classics and some over my highlight albums over the past 3 years. It is great to show some appreciation to records that stood out to me but got lost in the constant feed of new metal. I'll have some catching up to do next week. 🤘

In my world, I cannot stop listening to the At the Gates album. Pure awesomeness 😅 I had a real privilege to stumble upon the Aversio Humanitatis’, Riverflames’ and Pure Wrath’s newest albums. Take care!

I'm still stuck on a Archspire, Spirit Adrift, Nervosa, Immolation and Hellripper loop for the last few weeks, but as a melodeath junkie I'll definitely be checking that EP out, and I still don't know how to feel about the AtG's, definitely need to give it a few more listens to sink it all in, R.I.P Tomas.

For me, as a Brazilian fan, the real Sepultura happened between 1987 and 1996. After the split, neither Andreas and Sepultura nor the Cavalera Brothers did anything nearly as relevant, high-quality, and impactful as they did together in those nine years.

That said, I liked this EP, Jon. Specifically “the place”, a song with a very strong Portishead vibe.
