The new Immolation is incredible! Easily my favourite DM album of the year so far! Also really enjoyed the new Metal Church aswell, it's their best in over 30 years imo! Definitely gonna purchase the Spirit Adrift but I'm gonna wait till the physical release before I listen!

Will be checking out the new Archspire, i'm hoping the band survives the transition an indie band long-term, especially after hearing a recent video posted by Dean, from the band, in which he details many of the bumps and expensive learning experiences that they've had to get through just to get the album out, being ignored by sales charting companies since they no longer have a label, and needing to stay relevant enough to appeal to promoters and such when they'd like to be accepted tr perform at festivals and tours.
Also sounds like I'll need to listen to this video again because I can't remember the exact name of the "Witch… ripper?" bandd that sounds like it should be right up my alley, given their description and the 'for fans of' bands.

Great list as always. Excellent week. Immolation is absolutely epic those guys never miss. But why is Vomitory not on list. Much better thsn whatever that Archspire nonsense is. Sounds like a kids tv show doing death metal.
