Tom Bilyeu REVEALS His Daily Habits that Help Him Perform at an ELITE LEVEL | Health Theory
If you have followed me for any amount of time, you have likely heard me say action cures all. Since starting Healthy Theory, I have interviewed over 90 specialists and experts about everything from brain cognition, to gut microbiome, to reverse aging. Information is meant to be put into action, so today I am sharing with you what my daily routine consists of at the moment. Goals are important and should always be considered when choosing what is best for you. This is not advice for anyone, just a look at how I’ve applied the plethora of expert advice I’ve received over the past few years. This episode is Health Theory In Action with my own routine:
Key Points to My Routine:
1. Exercise and Meditation are a must.
2. Diet is critical for health. I keep it simple with meat, eggs, and veggies.
3. Learn what works best for your body and act in accordance.

QUOTES:
“If you haven’t at least explored that getting strong is the answer to your pain, that working out even though it seems like the riskiest thing you can do is actually the thing that’s going to solve your problem, then you haven’t even begun to explore potential remedies.” [3:02]
“The workout that you do, even if it’s a little wonky, is better than the perfect workout that you don’t do.” [8:27]
“Literally at a cellular level you are made of the things that you consume. So every cell in your body is from something that you ate” [14:31]
“I have a gut instinct, that anxiety is probably 90% your diet, and then 10%, what you’re thinking about” [16:21]

Why do you maintain so little muscle mass? It's common knowledge that as you age you lose muscle mass. Peter Atiya also mentioned that on one of your shows. Knowing that, why wouldn't you shoot to have a higher muscle mass to live healthier longer. Whtas the point of being 80 years old if you can't even be self sufficient?

Would love to hear your daily/weekly “relationship process.” Like how you prioritize your relationship, specific practices… I’m not sure if you’ve talked about this on Relationship Theory or if that show is more theoretical

Thanks for sharing good tips, clear examples and practical habits. You're doing quite a favor to people. Nonetheless, I'd like to see you identify the source of your anxiety, because otherwise all of your efforts are just the mitigation of some sort of an internal festering wound, and continually kicking it down the road of life. More often than not, just like there are reasons for the holiday seasons, the answer to our core issues are found somewhere in the holy Bible, but they must be searched for as for buried treasures.

Well done for crafting a life you love. To have a view like that every night you go to sleep and a strong loving relationship just to wake up and pursue passionately each day I am thankful for you. Much love and thank you for wanting the same for others. You are both wonderful humans. ❤

Very enjoyable to watch. I like this new format, less formal but thoroughly relatable.
I have the opposite thing with anxiety, the more routine, schedule adherence, the more anxiety is generated. I need to have a " cheat day" for everything. I don't think I'd enjoy living a life where there is restriction on everything, and where I can't be social because of diet/feeding schedule/workout routine, etc. It lacks spontaneity.
I kept on thinking about how I love life too much to have such a regimented life. When do you have fun and let go? That schedule/diet / routine is "antisocial", going to bed at 9 pm, not being able to go out for dinner because of feeding windows with intermittent fasting. I wonder if you just stay in your gorgeous house/compound with your wife all day, and never go out.
I admire your discipline but I was just wondering where is the pleasure in your life, the enjoyment, outside of the results of your success, and the obvious love for what you do, and of course, your relationship. Doesn't it feel claustrophobic at times, to live like this?
I really enjoyed this video, don't get me wrong. And I immediately went and prepared myself a healthy salad right after you opened your fridge. It's great inspiration to be disciplined but I don't think I could live like this for one hundred year, I would beg for someone to wrap the mouth tape around my nose and mouth to stop me from breathing. : )
Is there a time when you just " go crazy" and overboard, bingeing on cookies and champagne? Or do you maintain this amount of rigidity and strict adherence to your routine all year round?
Personally, I find that I need " cheat days" and times when I just go crazy and stay out until 3 am dancing, drink too much wine, and have deep conversations with total strangers and mindless fun singing karaoke. And I am not young! Just young at heart.
I'm just wondering what is the point of being super healthy and dying old, in the best shape of your life, if you that means you miss out on dinners with friends or nice, meaningful conversations late at night because you are sleeping.
I appreciate the work that goes into your great quality content, and I can tell how passionate you are about what you do. I especially enjoyed the episode with Kathy Bates, that was life changing! There is no secret: You have to work hard and be single minded about your dreams. But is there any fun on the way? I'm just wondering.
