And the very sad part for me: I hate my job. I only look forward to the weekends, except I have no money, friends, etc. to enjoy it with. So why even bother at at? WOuld be much better off dead.

I hate to be that guy, but just be grateful chuds. I was born with a severe stuttering problem. I haven’t had friends since elementary school. I have become kinda schizophrenic due to lack of human interaction. It has taken a serious toll on my life and career. But, I get up every morning and hope for the best. Just keep your head up brothers, you’ll do fine

Thank the fuck you to tell me that the only way to enjoy life is to not being alive.
No one wants to work those shitty jobs. No one ever cares about those bullshit companies. We only want a huge amount of money without work our ass for them. The whole world can be bought with money. Money is everything. We hate our jobs. We only love money.

2:212:25 according to the literature data though, most of those "disabilities" are self-inflicted aka. avoidable by mitigating risk factors, aka basically environmental.
Also I commented on this video 3 years ago and liked it before, only seeing this now. It was familiar but I thought my brain was creating false memories.

For those who think this is depressing, look at it another way. The time we have is a blessing to make a difference in the world. This video teaches us not to waste our time on trivial/stupid shit and focus on what is really important.

I really could have skipped the whole thing, i hate the fact im here. But at the same time self preservation is stopping me from killing myself. Ever been so depressed your brain feels like its swollen.

I only lived for work, until I left NYC, then I became a Vegas giggolo, and lived and trained for a weekend of clubbing.
    Life is short, and brutish.😢

I know many people in their 50s and can only think about retiring. I retired at 66 and it was the best decision I ever made. You can worry about will I have enough money to make it thru the rest of your life. Worries like this cause some people to never retire.

Oh wow, the human condition of rolling that boulder up the hill and having the brief respite of walking back down the hill to roll it up again… You're a fucking genius, idiot.

Thank you for being the one video that has turned the lightbulb on for me and potentially changed my life. I am 22, and this hit home for me. Greatly appreciated

My dad at 60 there 401(k) savings went to me it’s sad i’m very healthy at the age of 30 but I do not plan to make it past 50 they deliberately make stuff to make you die before Social Security age please prove me wrong

This has to be the most depressing channel—lol. It makes you too aware of life. I’ve watched most of the videos, and I wouldn’t recommend it—lol. The whole channel is basically about how much time we have left until we die.

I’m 13. A few months ago I realized I felt as if I’m just living day to day. I can’t even remember half of the things I did yesterday, let alone next week. It’s crazy how I’ve already lived so much of my life and yet I feel like I haven’t really lived it. Watching this video I realize it’s kind of fucked, spending 20 years asleep and sometimes I don’t even sleep at night and I just stretch my days, make life feel longer and more fulfilling or going to school and letting 6 hours just pass by me. Now that I look into my future, it’s just the same thing except on a different level. Paying rent, going to a job I dread, sleep and repeat which is kind of what life is right now. I’m not depressed, I still have fun, laugh, cry, get angry but this is just something that sticks to me before I sleep, “Was this a fun day, something memorable to add worth to my life?” These are just a few thoughts I have and to be honest I could never share with my mom and other 13 year olds. I really wanna get advice from older people because usually they have the most regrets and I wanna live an awesome life

I’m 17 and idk what to do. I need to make money to live and enough to live how I want, nothing too flash just comfortably and not paycheck to paycheck. But how do I even do this if not getting a job I don’t like? I don’t like any work

Concept of Ikigai – the purpose of being:
    👉🏼You're good at the job
    👉🏼You love the job
    👉🏼The job pays you money
👉🏼The job makes the world a better place
