Welcome to part one of talking about wrestling theme music! In this video, I explain how theme songs work in pro wrestling, how WWE has strongly employed them over the years, and I begin my list of favorites — going from honorable mentions to stuff that is close to the best, but not quite at the top.

I feel like in general, the 90s and early 00s are back. Kids are going to malls again. Wrestling is once again popular. The early 00s aesthetic is popular. I'm here for it.

Nah bro how you bring up john without memtioning basic thuganomics, aka one 9f the hardest song by a white man. I still to this day will die on the hill that, 2 faced rappers walk away with 4 shiners, is at least in the top 50 list of lines in a rap song

As good as The Time Is Now is Basic Thuganomics will always be the better song to me.
Other themes I can think of that’s great are:
Metalingus – Alter Bridge – Edge
    I Walk Alone – Saliva – Batista
This Fire – Killswitch Engage – CM Punk
    Booyaka 619 – P.O.D. – Rey Mysterio
The Rising Sun – CFO$ – Shinsuke Nakamura
Flight of the Valkyries – Daniel Bryan
Radio – Jim Johnston – Zack Ryder
Just Close Your Eyes – Waterproof Blonde – Christian
Viva La Raza – Jim Johnston – Eddie Guerrero

Maybe a controversial opinion, but I don't like that Punk uses Cult of Personality. Not that it's not a good song, its a certified all time rock classic. I just don't like using a bonafide tride and true song. I feel like its cheating. I prefer the HHH route and getting a legendary music act to write a song specifiically for you, it's more personal.

I couldn't see the upside of downloading upside until I turned my device upside down, thus pointing the up side down and once I had upside downloaded I turned my device upside down again (which turned the downside up) and now with the downside up, upside downloaded and having noted the upside of upside down. I was down with upside!

Whatever by Our Lady Peace will always be my favorite wrestling theme song. Sure, it's associated with [NAME REDACTED BY WWE] , but damn, it suited his theme well to him, especially his last two years in wrestling after the death of his friend Eddie Guerrero, and what happened to him afterwards.
