For some reason, I Don’t Fuck With You became my high school wrestling team’s victory anthem. Whenever the varsity team won a duel they’d all get in the locker room and start blaring it and dancing. Honestly, something about the griminess of a high school locker room and a bunch of elated teenage boys shouting it at the top of their lungs just works.
If this ridicoulus stigma against white rappers who try to be lyrical didnt exist(because that apparently makes you either corny or an out of touch old man according to the internet) Macklemore would still be on top.
