The Story of Fraggle Rock, The Forgotten Jim Henson Puppet Show
If you grew up in the ’80s, there is a good chance you can remember the catchy Fraggle Rock theme song. The catchy opening jingle wasn’t the only interesting aspect of the show. Fraggle Rock was arguably one of the best Jim Henson productions ever. It was even better than the muppets. Even if you’re a Kermit fan who can’t co-sign that statement, you have to agree that Fraggle Rock is fantastic and completely weird.

What network did Fraggle Rock come on? I know it aired on HBO from '83 to '87. After the show ended, HBO started rerunning the original series after the original run concluded. According to Wikipedia, the show aired on HBO until '88. It was first rerun on TNT in '88 to '92, then on The Disney Channel in '92 to '96, then on Odyssey Network in '99 to '01. Then on The Hub in '10 to '14 as part of the channel's launch. Could have been either of those. HBO later brought back Fraggle Rock, remastered episodes in HD on its channels and streaming services starting in 2016.

Forgotten! never. This is my most Favorite of the fine Henson projects. As a septuagenarian now I have followed Jim Henson's projects. I have surrounding my workshop with vignettes of The muppets and fraggle rock thanks too Palisades wonderful figures. Each shelf dedicated to a show episode. Pigs in space, Muppet Labs, The whole Dr Teeth band on stage, the Swedish chef in the his kitchen and Backstage at the Muppet show. The Fraggles have their own shelf with rocks and Doozer structures. They are miniature figures of characters that have made me smile for many years and still do. Never grow up!

I wouldn't say it's forgotten at all Fraggle Rock is one of Jim Henson's Big Three, the others being The Muppets and Sesame Street.

Bro how is fraggle Rock Even kind of forgotten? It sees more production action than the Muppets these days.
There's an ongoing show and a touring live production of it.

Fraggle Rock had the best music. The
ORIGINALFraggle Rock. The reboot is nothing more than a cold, dead memory of the original.@Clzbear

I clearly don't need to repeat everybody else, so I'll simply say that if you're looking for a "forgotten" Henson Muppet show to do a retrospective on, I suggest The Ghost of Faffner Hall.

What do you mean "forgotten"? It's one of his most beloved shows and was a huge success.
