The REAL Reason Crowbar Is Popular Again…

I think why these darker and raw bands are getting traction is simply because teenagers/ people in their 20s are realising alot of the slop thats being produced or pushed forward is not only generic but soulless, that being said i dont think new people should be shut out necessarily even if there are jokes or memes about the band, the band stays loved even with the jokes because theres no ill intentions

As a longtime true fan of Crowbar and sludge, I appreciate the increased visibility. Now I hope people rediscover the Melvins, Baroness, Iron monkey and Eyehategod. To be honest, though, it bothers me that TikTok is overdoing it with this; it feels like they’re forcing it—like chewing on broken glass and pretending to enjoy it.

Just want to say thanks for being so great to Crowbar and saying kind and respectful things about them. I don't care how or why what's happening for them is happening somewhat recently, I'm just overjoyed that it's happening.

What the HELL are you babbling about? This reminds me of something NPR would do, where they'd have a bit on the history of inner city, Gangster Rap, and interviewed an "expert" who was some 21yr old white dork from Maryland.
The current memes are nothing more than a dog pile, flavor of the month, and made by people who have never once listened to CROWBAR. Futhermore, the whole "fat" thing. There was one, maybe 2 lineups where a couple of the band members were fat, but that was from 35yrs ago. Kirk hasn't been big in a long time. Anyone that's seen them live knows he's an average sized dude, that's a bit short.
Also, never once seen a biker at a Crowbar show,and I highly doubt modern bikers even know who CROWBAR is.

Lastly,
