Please don't corrupt your videos with political opinions: I refer simply to the drawing of the fool holding a sign "anti-mask". This image did not age well. I also wonder if the irony might be lost on you that you only took this as some sort of a 'fact' because an oppressive government told you to.

As far as Aldous Huxley goes as a humanbeing does not matter so much as his ability to tap into a mindset of humankind, and the possible horrors that represents.
The worst, yet complex living beings that are out of harmony with the world…are the humans/human animals.

I would argue that talking about the love for the nation, instead of the global society or state, is inaccurate inside of the book's world, as these notions that I have mentioned are the ones used in the own book. In the book local ethnicity, langauge and culture have been vanished, thus this world lies in the destruction of clasic nations. Sorry for getting so long for such a minor detail anyway.

The more I hear about Freud the more stupidly ignorant he seems. Sex is essential for happiness? Then are prostitutes the happiest in the world? Or do bees live in eternal depression? What about people unable to procreate? Or asexuals? Much like Oedipus Complex its a ridiculous attempt to capture reality.

Sgt. Pepper’s also has represented Simon Rodia, the Italian steel worker who single handedly built The Watts Towers and has been compared to Gaudi. He built the towers on the property that his house sat on, and after completing the work gave the keys to his neighbor and disappeared. The City of Los Angeles eventually received the towers, and concerned they were a public risk attempted to tear them down. But they proved too strong to easily demolish. The towers are today in the middle of the Hood® of South Central LA. Since Rodia was single, he could be said to deserve to be on the album cover more than Huxley, who was married…

I read the entirety of The Doors of Perception while sleep-deprived on the train, Heaven and Hell as well. It's a truly unique book, I haven't read anything like it before or since. One fascinating idea Huxley brings up in the book is what he calls 'the mind at large', comparing 'the mind at large' to a sort of foreign land accessible via psychedelics. It creates an interesting distinction between what the brain is capable of in general as opposed to its normal, survival oriented functioning. I'd recommend it to anyone interested in psychedelics, the nature of consciousness, and fans of art as well (he makes some interesting observations relating art and the perception of artists to the psychedelic potential of the brain)

I've done quite alot of psyches and other classes such as disso and delirants. While I believe these compounds can lead to great effects. We must not let that drown out the downsides. Aswell as psyches arent a fix all they dont instantly fix anything it gives you the map but doesnt walk it for you. Anything you gain from psyches could be gained sober while harder its possibles psyches dont create things they alter things that already exist just in really fun ways LMAO. Stay safe friend!
