You can also buy all those japanese east west reissues straight from japan and pay less than 10 usd per item, including dhl 2 day shipping and VAT to get them into the EU or USA… I bought 22 of the east west limited editions end may and paid just under 215 usd for the whole lot (including all the ones named here)… but move fast… the ones at lasers edge went in no time, and the ones in japanese online stores are going just as fast!

Just been watching DVD3 of the Tull box, and the 50-minute chunk of video is all one piece, starting about 25 minutes into the performance. The menu lets you decide whether you want to start watching from the moment there's video, or the entire thing. Really well made, just as the entire box is.

So relieved I pre-ordered several of these Japanese fusion titles when first added to the LaserCD website. Fearing they'd sell out when Ken first announced 'em on last week's episode, I marked my calendar to begin checking the site throughout the week. Glad I did, as I snagged eight titles no longer listed (for the record, I've heard not a single note of what I purchased, but as with buying albums in the '70s and '80s, I went with my gut. And it's never failed me). Thanks for securing these titles, Ken. Looking forward to receiving the CDs, discovering some great new (to me) music. Hope to see more titles in the future! @seaoftranquilityprog

Awww man!!! I didn't get to see this until after work, so I picked up what was left. At least I got "Out of Chaos" for a great price and 5 others as well. Yea, those prices are PHENOMENAL!!!! Luckily, I already have that Ryo(and Juice), but not that Masabumi Kikuchi album(I do have Susto and One-Way Traveller).

I thought they would be under the New Fusion header, but I found them after typing in one of the artists and then clicking on the East Wind/Universal link. I'll just have to be on it better next time, lol.

Old Man Prog shut up we know more than you do. 😉

-signed Marillion is our favorite band fan(s)

With Anathema's Distant Satellites Pete's 2014 pick today, I actually saw Rendezvous Point open for them in London at one of their last shows (and probably ever) before Covid. Good band Pete you should like them. George too.

Hey Ken, that was like an auction. I know nothing about Japanese Jazz and stuff was flying off the shelf. I panicked and threw Masuda, Mikio Trace and Suzuki, Isao, Hip Dancing in my cart and bought it. Can't wait to listen.

Whew! Longest episode makes for largest order which has already been made. Many, many thanks to The Professor and Pete for this latest episode in the series and special thanks to Ken for bringing some of the Japanese jazz to the Picks. Enough caught attention for some to be included. There goes the CD budget for this week! Again, thanks to Ken and Pete. Looking forward to next week.
