Pearl Jam had a couple good songs but mostly were pretty boring. They were the least interesting of that whole Seattle thing with Alice In Chains, maybe not the best, being my favorite.Eddies presence in Temple of the Dog made that band boring. He was in the movie “singles”,guess what?It was boring.Go eat some granola with Neil Young Ed.Your done here.

Jeez Eddie, Motley aren't defined by Girls, they actually sang about a number of darker subjects (seedy underbelly of LA etc etc). Also, Girls was just a reflection of their life at the time, it would have been disingenuous of them to whine and moan like a collage kid about how tough and unfair life is

Squirrel Jam was one of the worst bands of all time!!! Eddie Vetter sings with his mouth full of marbles and the songs all make me want to either vomit or fall asleep. Terrible subject matter, poor arrangements and unispired musicianship. So in other words FUCK YOU EDDIE!!!!

Just listen to their vocals, I'm not sure if I'd call it a sellout at that point but post 80's most every band was a sellout with their either dark, griddy, sandy, vocals styles. Which I can't stand vocals like that. Plus music lost any joy to it and mostly became something that made you want to go out and shoot yourself. Yea like your style of music is better.

Grunge was absolute garbage musically and culturally! Eddie saying girls in combat boots, sweaters, and butch hair cuts was ideal, tells you everything you need to know about the 90s. IT SUCKED

I dig Pearl Jam and I was done with the whole glam metal hair scene early on but I can't help but feel that the whole grunge/indie rock scene sure brought in a lot of equally revolting, objectionable notions into pop culture, it seemed to be the roots of a lot of the sjw weak ass lunatic cry baby/bully mentality that has really infected pop culture ever since , fuck that.

Eddie gives props to guns and Janes addiction. So true. They were so cool in the beginning. Motley was cool was cool with two albums and then no thanks. I like that Eddie knew guns first album was epic. It lead to grunge. And Janes was so epic 87’ and Guns 87’

I thought this guy was a pseudo-pretentious pris back then. Shockingly, he's still a pseudo-pretentious pris.
I'm jealous of Motley Crue too, but man enough to admit it.

Is that picture from his upcoming ukulele album: "I'm so smart, I'm sad"?
