Happy New Year, Pete and Ken! I wasn't expecting an episode so early in 2025 so this was a nice surprise! Thanks you both for all the work you do to keep us music nerds truckin on our musical journey.

Oppo players really had the best picture and sound and value! Recently I had to buy a 4k player though and Oppos are too expensive since they're old stock. I got a discounted Sony UBP-X800 and I'm really happy with it, although its not region free.

Ken, there's not "plenty of keyboards" on Circus's "Movin' On". The album, like the first (s/t), is actually notable for the total absence of any keyboards. I've had the original CD reissue of this for 30 years. Only on the 3rd album does Stephan Ammann come in on keys. The Blue Motion offshoot band which you reissue many years ago is much recommended too – one drummer, two keyboards players, now THAT one has plenty of keys ! 😉

Looking forward to some new Prog-metal releases. Other than Opeth, it’s been a while.
