This is an identical principle to the Chinese proverb 塞翁失马，which translates to “The Old Man that Lost His Horse”. The old man pretty much goes through a similar chain of ups and downs, and the moral of the story is that we often don’t know whether things that happen are good or bad until long after they have happened.

Great video. Unrealistic that they would perform surgery for the tumour though. Usually it doesn’t matter if they catch it early because they’ll wait until it’s a problem to treat it or else insurance won’t cover it.
