God this show was great, thank you for talking about it Elvis… I loved it in Colour, such good lighting and colouring unlike most FLAT tv shows these days. REALLY WANT A SEQUEL

1:21 i Mean it's a variant I don't think it applies to variants only the main-line variants that are simular to 616 spiderman, yes 199999 counts to this. (The MCU) the Spiderverse Peter for example counts into this or Gwen's peter, although that variant turned into the lizard but is in the lines of these "Need to be" requirements with some loopholes.

Im honestly really glad that Nicholas Cage voiced Spider-Noir in the Spiderverse movie, because let it be anyone else and not only do I just not think we would be getting the hit show Spider-Noir, but if we did, I just don't think it would be as good with any other actor, lmao.

Nick has, once again, found a role that basically only he can play

Also, side note, but the show is genuinely so good. I watched an episode high asf, and in black and white, and it took me being high to really see how the show is "bad" in the sense that all the black and white shows were "bad." Like, it's genuinely a good show, but it has that "bad acting and chorography" feel that you can really only appreciate in older, black and white films, because that was literally the norm and PREFERRED back then. Maybe it's because I was high, but I remember telling my friend, "Omg, is this what watching TV in the 60s was like?" Like, that experience was such an eye-opener that I watched the rest of it in black and white and deadass started loving the show more and more, If I didn't already love it since the beginning. One of those shows where I just wish I could forget about it to watch it for the first time again.

i hate weekly releases… though I guess it doesn't really matter. I can just watch when it's all available. I don't give a shit about "hype" … why would I give a shit, I don't know

Also, another thing I liked a lot was that when Robbie impersonates The Spider he gets injected with the serum that originally was meant to take away his powers, but since Robbie doesn't have any powers, the serum MIGHT give him some kinda powers that we'll hopefully see in Season 2 that will hopefully exist.

Posting this because Elvis the Alien got me to watch Succession and it became one of my fav shows. But I can't find the video he made about Succession, so now I'm wondering if I just imagined it? Does anyone else remember this video and he just delisted it or something

The directors of the show said they designed it to be a multi series, Nicolas cage said it was designed to be a stand alone…
I would love more shows to be made to have a choice between colour and black and white.

The mirror sequence is a direct hommage to the Noir-Thriller The Lady From Shanghai (1947) by Orson Welles, a great movie i can highly recommend to everyone liking this show.

I saw someone saying that Nicholas Cage’s acting is a bit muted in the first half of the show, but in the second half, he is completely Nicholas Cage, and I agree

Color first then b&w so you can really appreciate the intention and artistry that went into the b&w version. Dunno why you'd actively switch when it's 100% worth watching twice
