I plan on investing into this IPO myself even as i practically beg people to not use this service! If you can pay the full price up front you can't afford it. If it's an emergency or you're buying a home or something like that fine, but financing a taco?!

Billion dollar valuations for companies where this is the value proposition:
"What if we did banking but we charged no interest and our target demographic is broke people?"
GENIUS!

Klarna came into troble in Norway because they did give credit without credit checking.. BUT they offered a way of pay within 30 day withiout interest and fees which for a while gave them an optertunity to ineed themselves into the space of putting the customer in an future hock and bait situtation..

i feel like certain things are not taken into account such as delinquent payments and recovering debts. yeah credit scores have problems but they at least work to create some semblance of reliability.

Best way to avoid buying crap you don't need is to use cash and pay in full.
That's why they push so hard for cashless debt world.

Sounds like then PYPL should’ve skyrocketed since that whole company is based on one of PYPL’s feature. Short it?

Sub 4% default rate on 0% interest non-recourse debt given to the least credit worthy doesn’t seem sustainable. Either consumer behavior will diminish or default rate will rise, neither would be good for them.

BNPL is risky. It's really a subprime credit facility.
If the consumer doesn't qualify for a credit card, what makes an investor think they'll be repaid? "Return of principle is more important than return in principle."
